Message From the Elders
During this time when we are not meeting together as a congregation, it is important that we continue to maintain fellowship with each other through phone calls/FaceTime, text messages, email, social media, or even Skype. Know that the elders are praying for the congregation. We are also praying for everyone affected by the Coronavirus-directly or indirectly-and that our sovereign God will bring this virus and its effects under control quickly. We're calling on you to pray with each other and for each other daily and to help meet each other's needs. We ask that you also pray for us as a church and as a fellowship of churches, that we continue to care deeply about others and their plight and not just ourselves.
As we are trusting in God to bring us through these challenging times, please keep in mind that our church financial obligations do not decrease because we are not meeting. It is important that we continue giving regular contributions to maintain various church operations.
In the event that any brothers and/or sisters experience financial hardships due to illness or "social distancing" (including layoffs, school and childcare closures, etc.) the church's benevolence fund could be a source of financial assistance. It is very important that we maintain, the amount of funding for this purpose.
Please consider submitting your contributions online at:
https://thecharlottechurch.org/Give. This is the preferred method of giving to limit the number of trips to the mailbox.
However, if online giving is not an option, contribution may also be sent by mail to:
The Charlotte Church
1800 Camden Road, Suite 107-275
Charlotte, NC 28203
Thank you for your faithfulness during this unsettling time. If there is anything that you need, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will do our very best to serve you.
Thank you.
The Elders
